Free Range Flowers

About Us

Free Range Flowers are organically grown & rainwater fed gifts grown on Nooksack land in a larger farm project of environmental and social sustainability.

The farm offers a safe place to bring our full selves forward, encourages learning, connection to Nature and visioning of what healthy community looks and feels like. We offer a stunning palette of fresh-picked, artist-quality blooms with a focus on unique perennials, sturdy brights and muted event colors.

Growing Practices

Organic & Salmon-Safe Practices
All our flowers are grown organically: no chemically formulated fertilizers, growth stimulants, or pesticides. While many imported flowers lose their scent or cause skin irritation due to chemical treatments, ours are safe to smell (and some are even edible!).

Water & Land Stewardship
Because our soils are considered "droughty," we collect rainwater to irrigate our annual and perennial crops. Our regime of regular watering, cover cropping, and composting makes for healthy soil without groundwater contamination. Which means lots of big, strong plants growing the healthiest of blooms!

Cold Chain Management

Our flowers spend as little time as possible getting to our customers. We practice variety-specific harvesting and conditioning so that we can deliver top quality stems, giving any arrangement just-picked wildflower vibes. And, traveling minimal distances, even our most delicate flowers stay breathtakingly fresh.
