About Us

Wildrye Farm is a specialty cut flower farm located in Bellingham, Washington. We specialize in sustainable, exceptional quality cuts. Wildrye Farm is owned and primarily farmed by Miranda Bowman. What started as a love of weeding blossomed into a small urban flower farm.

I absolutely love growing flowers. I am an optimist, dreamer and adore living in the Pacific Northwest. If I am not outside working with plants you can find me hiking with my family or camping somewhere in the mountains.

I love sharing flowers with my community. Bringing the natural world indoors and sharing the beauty of flowers is truly a gift. I hope that in time I can educate more and more people on the importance of locally grown flowers and the impact of growing flowers responsibly.

Growing Practices

We grow our flowers sustainably by following organic growing practices. We sow our seeds with a mindfulness of the natural world around us. It's important to honor the natural rhythms around us and we try to honor the local flora, fauna, critters, and creatures as much as possible. We believe in leaving the land better than we found it. Our practices include using compost, cover crops, practicing crop rotation, and using biological pest controls. We don't use synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or synthetic insecticides.
